St Albert the Great Catholic Primary School was opened in 1962 and is situated in the beautiful grounds in Bennetts End. Hemel Hempstead.

St Albert the Great Catholic Primary School is fully committed to safeguarding children and young people (including E-Safety).  Our Child Protection policy is available in our school office.

Welcome to our website.  We hope that you find it full of useful information and that you enjoy sharing our children’s learning and achievements.  The year group pages provide details of topics which our pupils have studied and their current curriculum areas.  Additionally, you will find the children’s homework activities on these pages.

You may also like to view the ‘School News’ section.  We moved into our new school building in 2013 and pictures of our wonderful school building and grounds can be viewed as well as photos of the children engaged in their learning.

We were delighted with the results of our last Ofsted inspection which highlighted the hard work of the children and staff.  The full report can be viewed by clicking on the ‘Ofsted Report’ tab on our Home page.  Thank you to the many parents who have said that they felt that the published report reflected what they had already known about the school.  New documents, which we hope you will find useful, have also been uploaded onto the ‘School Admin’ pages and we hope that you are able to find all the information you require.

If you have further questions about our school contact the staff in the school office who will be happy to help you (admin@albertthegreat.herts.sch.uk) .

Caritas Prayer :

Blessed are you when you smile at me

- for then I know I'm welcome

Blessed are you when you look at me with love

- for then I know I am special

Blessed are you when you wait for me

- for then I know I belong

Blessed are you when you walk with me in public places

- for then I know you are proud of me

Blessed are you when you ask me for help

- for then I know that I matter

Blessed are you when you are gentle with me

- for then I am sure that I am loved

Blessed are you when you believe in me

- for then I know that I am valued

Blessed are you when you hold my hand

- how else can I feel God's compassion?
